Afternoon Tea At Centurion Club

The tea was really enjoyable, the setting perfect and the service really good. We loved the sample tea menu It would have been 5 stars throughout but for two very small facts. It was such a wet and miserable day it would have great if the fire was alight on arrival rather than being lit as we left. The scones were amazing, beautifully light and the best I 've had for an afternoon tea, the cakes, although delicious, were rather samey a little bit of variety would make the tea perfect. We will be back and I would recommend your tea to others.

The venue covers the whole spectrum of casual, formal or business lunches. We had the afternoon tea, the service was second to none and while it was similar to other afternoon tea's I've had, the quality and selection of the open sandwiches were far superior to many of the finger sandwiches I've eaten. With lovely views over the lake and 18th green, the Centurian Club is definitely somewhere we will return to.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon. The vegan option was excellent. The tea choices were lovely and the location clean and fresh (but a bit impersonal) Overall the selection of sandwiches and cakes was good but nothing really special which made me think this was more for a good choice of venue for a routine afternoon out with friends as opposed to, say, a treat for a special birthday or event.

This was the second time I 'd been and enjoyed the whole experience, thank you. However, a 'proper ' slice of cake rather than the tiny mouthfuls (albeit tasty! would enhance the 'tea '.
