After being here before and enjoying it, we decided to head to Aggra for a New Year’s Eve meal. It just seemed we waited for ever for every part of the meal process. I would understand if the restaurant was packed out, there were around 7 tables of customers and 2 front of house staff waiting on. It got to the point of me deciding that if no one had come back to me once I had finished my 1st drink then I would be leaving, it was an extremely close call, as we hadn’t even had the order for food taken. The restaurant has a decent atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is extensive, but unfortunately, my starter and main dish were not served as ordered. When I brought this to the staff's attention, I was told that my original choice was no longer available, and they served me an alternative without consulting me. Similarly, my partner received chicken instead of the lamb they had requested, with no explanation given when we asked. Our local Indian and we love it and visit on a regular basis The place itself it a little tired but the curries the staff and the service are great. We have always been looked after and given friendly service. We love the Naga curry and it comes just like we like it. Do not judge a book by its cover.

We returned after a while as it was previously The Far Pavillion. The food was good as was the service. The environment is clean and staff are welcoming. Recommended!

Had a takeaway from Agra Restaurant last night. It was excellent . Just as good as eating inside. Well worth a try.
