I had a tasting scheduled to find my wedding caterer a few months back. I scheduled a time for my fiancé and I to go to their kitchens to pick up a to-go box of food. When we got there there was 3 people working in the kitchen getting ready for an event they were catering that day and they were going to give us a portion of that food, which was totally fine! They seemed very scrambled in the kitchen, running back and forth and obviously strained. I thought in my head that I didn 't want my wedding caterer to be this unorganized the day of my wedding. Lucy did everything that she could to make our day at the Irish American Club in the Madison/Abbey room. She is a phenomenal planner and helped us with every aspect of our wedding day. The food was phenomenal- we ordered the beef tips and the bruschetta chicken and both were great- all guests were happy with the entire meal. My one thing is that my matron of honor (who was busy with her 3 year old) was rushed through her main entree so that they could take her plate. I would highly recommend Ahern Catering and Lucy!
