Needed to find a place near the Jack Daniels Distillery on our way home to Canada and this was the closest town that had a few options. The two reviews that they did have looked promising so we took the risk and headed there. Completely surprised! At first we went in the market as we didn’t realize the entrance for the actual restaurant was around the side but the lady inside was nice enough to walk us through the back to show us. We walked in to find linen table clothes and napkins, a beautifully decorated dining room and a friendly host. The menu was very clearly labelled vegan and vegetarian so we didn’t have to ask what was safe which Is always nice! I did however, have to ask about most...

I am a fan of any restaurant that clearly marks its vegan items. This place is extra wonderful, however, because the food is not only delicious and freshly prepared but also offered at a very reasonable price. My two daughters and I all had a falafel platter, which cost only $6.99 each. We also shared a spinach pie and an arugula salad with pomegranate seeds. I posted pictures of everything except for the spinach pie, which was so delicious that we devoured it before we could get a photograph. My only negative thing to say about this restaurant is that the pita bread contained milk so it wasn’t vegan. The hummus and falafel were absolutely delicious, though, and we all licked our plates clea...

To sum up my experience: out of nothing the owner asked me what my religion is and I said nothing. The he said I feel sorry for you ! First why do you ask such a moronic question from someone whom you do not know and is your customer? And how the hell you feel sorry? People should be sorry for you with this attitude toward life. Me and my roommates will not be their customer anymore.

to remove the corner from their food business, this is a place they should check. probably half of their menu is vegan, and is clearly marked. pastries are amazing, falafel and ma’quale platters are both awesome. I could probably live from her baba ganoush (Eggplant-Dip). stop the meal with a baklava (vegan! and turquoise coffee (not for the faint of the heart).
