Angelo's Traditional Pizzeria Restaurant

We stopped there quite early in the evening en route to a function nearby. The staff were already very busy making pizzas for delivery but we were served quickly. The restaurant has 6 tables inside and a couple on the pavement outside. The tables were clean but it was not a glamorous interior: you would feel quite comfortable taking children there. We shared wedges with sweet chili sauce and sour cream and a medium pizza, half supreme, half satay chicken. Was the best restaurant for Pizzas and pastas for the last 10 years. than this years original owner sold out and moved on. Toppings on Pizza became Lss, quality suffered and than the Passata, well undercooked and using frozen ingrediants just not on. The really bad thing is how this icon has now gone down hill and dirty to boot will not go back there

Firstly, I walked in and none of the three staff greeted me. A definite no no for the hospitality food industry. The pizza was too oily and had that vinegar flavour that some pizza places use not sure what the ingredient is but it spoils the taste. I won't go back.

The crust was nice Crisp but not much tipping on it. We had Meat Lovers but not much meat was to be seen on it. No where near as good as Mamma Della. Would only go back as a last resort.

The pork ribs from Angelo's were amazing. I ordered through menulog and everything went to plan. Although the pizza i also ordered was substandard.
