a beautiful restaurant in a charming village, the service was very good, but eating? I have no idea what the cook thought for the starter, but warm frog legs on cold bean sputs with a pistachios sauce did not work. even! the chicken. (strand and wing) swim in a overhearing but tasteless sauce has done nothing to increase the standard. the desert was in order, but nothing special". the menu chopin plus for coffee was not well spent.

Having visited the Chateaux a few time and seen this restaurant, we finally found a reason to visit for lunch, as a meeting place with friends who live locally. What a gem and wonderful experience. Superb meal, get wine and sat by the simmering open...fire, we all agreed the food was special, the wine great and the Amuse Bouche a surprise. MEMORABLE and we will be visiting again, no doubt soon.

nohant is a beautiful place and the auberge disappointed not. the environment is wonderful, the service attentive, and eating is well and wonderfully presented, even at the euro three curs meal. go in summer and enjoy the village before and after, a...big experience.

beautiful little ones for good. lunch here and then visit the george sands museum via the street and hike in the gardens.
