Bellini - Reservar una mesa

We didn’t know this restaurant existed before we found it quite by chance. We walked from the Mairie de Montrouge Metro station along the Avenue de la Republique, looking for a restaurant that wasn’t like all the others. Every one we passed was “more of the same”. After lots of walking, we reached yet another street corner, and I had given up and was ready to turn around, go back, and settle for more of the same. “I give up,” I told my companions. “Turn around,” they said. We booked here two days before our dinner. The restaurant did not bother to warn us that they were experiencing technical issues on the day and that their menu was very, very limited. Only took an apero here. The staff did not seem friendly. We would have appreciate them to contact us beforehand. We understand it is unfortunate for the restaurant but that was our anniversary and we would have liked another experience...

We have chosen this restaurant because of the previous reviews. They are not aligned with our experience. I have heard there is a new owner. The food was plenty of oil. This is not what we can call an Italian restaurant. Do not go there!

Bellini is a nice, cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was good and the service was very fast. Especially the bruschetta and the duo tagliatelle (both daily specials) were delicious.

The owner of the place was very cute and caring.the food was delicious, and the prices are moderate. Higly recommended for dinner in this area.
