Das Botanica ist ein sehr hübscher Laden aber sehr preisintensiv. Leider wird der hohe Preis der Qualität der Speisen in keinster Weise gerecht. Optisch hübsch angerichtet, ist es doch leider geschmacklich alles unterer Durchschnitt. Da die Hauptküche im Keller ist und hier stark mit Schimmel zu kämpfen ist, wird auch schon mal nach drei Tagen die Streußel vom Kuchen gekratzt und neue drauf getan. Dann geht er wieder in den Verkauf. Die Chefin mit ihrem ungeheuerlichem Ego ist schon als Narzistin zu bezeichnen. Ihr Umgang mit Angestellten spricht sich in ganz Magdeburg rum. Ein ehemaliger Koch dort hatte die Nase gestrichen voll, kündigte und hat in einem richtigen Restaurant am Schleinufer...
Ich kannte es noch von vor zwei Jahren. Damals war ich begeistert, das Essen war lecker -der Service ebenso. Diesmal hatten wir reserviert und einen Geburtstagsgast dabei. Keine Kerze, kein nettes Wort, keine Nachfrage ob es geschmeckt hat. Es wurden auch benutzte Gläser und Teller trotz Nachbestellung nicht abgeholt, sodass wir es erst einmal nebenan auf den Tisch stellten. Das Essen an sich hat aber allen geschmeckt. Schade nur, dass mit den Gästen so gleichgültig umgegangen wird. Da wir fast die einzigen waren, lag es auch nicht am Zeitmangel.
The ambience is loving, stylish and beautiful. Just as much effort was given during the meal. The ingredients are perfectly matched. The service was very friendly and fast. From the price, the dishes are surprisingly favorable if you consider most organic ingredients. Praisely, it is still to be mentioned that the owners seem to place value on using as little garbage as possible. Instead of plastic straws, there are, for example, reusable. It would be nice if the napkins could be used as well. We like to come back.
Food was really good, we ordered two different wraps and they were delicious, would definitely recommend. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the service, we arrived at 17 indeed without a reservation and we were told there were no places although most of the tables were reserved for 19:30. We managed to convince them to let us stay at the table outside the restaurant which had no reservation. It was also a bit difficult to communicate with the team that was not speaking English. Tip, quite spontaneously drove to the Botanica today, unfortunately all the places were gone outside. The bartender was right there and offered us another place. He was very nice and relaxed. Food came fast and tasted really delicious. The recommended drinks were also very good. Guys, the cake! A dream. The evening was really great. Over and over.
