Boulangerie Tounert

Not much to say here other than top notch. I’ve come here almost every day during my visit in Paris. I speak barely any French but the baker is understanding in helping me order. Very friendly service, you get a warm welcome every time you walk in the door. The products are high quality at every level- the fruit tart has fresh fruit with a buttery pie crust (other bakeries I’ve found their pie crust to be dry and crumbly), the crème in the middle is light, not too sweet. The citrus tart I had was splendid, perfect level of tartness with that wonderful pie crust under, very generous portion of citrus filling. This place is the best!
