This morning in Jersey City, I was craving a sweet pastry and found this amazing coffee shop after a quick Google search. I enjoyed an almond croissant paired with a cappuccino, and Bourke Street Bakery is now my new favorite spot in the city. All pastries are homemade, and I can confidently say the almond croissant is one of the best I've ever tasted. If you want a fantastic cup of coffee, brewed with Counter Culture Coffee, this is the place to go. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The manager was very rude and seemed annoyed when I inquired about WiFi, becoming even more irritated when I asked for the password. The pastries appeared stale and were stacked haphazardly. Despite being located right across from the Path, the place had low foot traffic. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Dine-in brunch Price range: $1–10 per person

The bread at Bourke Street Bakery is outstanding. I visited this morning and the sourdough loaf was still warm. Best of all, the staff are incredibly friendly!
