An amazing hidden jewel of a place. According to an article on the wall there are 60,000 pubs in the UK and only 200 of them unchanged. This place is unchanged and like back to time, but not in a bad way. Cracking Pint, but what a venue... I'm back!

What a fantastic pub. Visited on a very cold December lunchtime. Lovley roaring log fires. Fantastic Ales. The food was simple, but spot on, so refreshing to see simple food on a menu today.

A lovely homley place to come and have a drink or two. Said rove to be the oldest pub in Exeter and even the Queen has visited this place. Nice friendly service.

Rich in history, a beautiful surroundings by the river. Friendly staff, cedar was great and the food was amazing.
