Everything is more expensive in Santa Fe, and I know this when I go out to eat there. Even so can somebody please tell me what's the market, and what's the price? These are the questions I really want to ask when I see this on a menu. Especially when an 8oz petite filet runs $48 bucks, and everything here is a la carte. I had a salad and a bowl of green chili (which was good) but I couldn't bring myself to order anything more after deciding that my wallet just couldn't handle the abuse. I can certainly afford a fine meal if I want, but unless I am celebrating becoming recently divorced I can't justify it. Three people, and one with just a salad and a bowl of chili ran the bill to well up ove...
This place offers everything anyone could ask for in a steak house. I could go on and on about all that one could in a review but in this review I want to point out my waiter. I have traveled around the world , this country and have eaten in food from peoples trunk to Michelin star restaurants. I have endured many types of service and I will say Marvin is one of the best I have come across. If I owned a restaurant I would have offered him a job in a heart beat. I would want him to run my place and train all of my employees in the art of service . I do not know what his ambitions are but sky is the limit with that young man.
I have misplaced the other pictures I had. We were a party of nine and had a decent meal. We started in the bar and migrated to the back room of the steakhouse. It's was quiet until the other large party showed up, but it's ok. We had everything from the escargot to chicken to steak, with all kinds of sides. This review is a little late as we visited just after Christmas and before the new year. The service on both the bar and the steakhouse side were great!
One of the best restaurant experiences in my life. Great steak, food was amazing! Service great! Atmosphere great! Everyone acted professional and nice. Didn't have to repeat myself once. Great staff and I assume it's because they have great management. Looking forward to visiting again.
