Cafe Stopover - Reserva de mesa

As a recent expat arrival in Aachen from Melbourne (coffee snob capital of the world!) my first priority was to find a decent cup of coffee. To my horror I discovered that the majority of cafes in Germany use a preset coffee machine and just press one button to make your coffee. No barista, no milk frother, nothing. I was so desperate I even went to Starbucks.I stumbled across this place quite coincidentally as it's close to my gym. Cafe Stopover is tucked away in Milchstrasse, which is a pedestrian-only street between Marienbongard and Pontstrasse. as a student and coffee addict, last year I was looking for a caffeine with drinkable coffee. Unfortunately to my great disappointment there is no hope for Aachen....or at least that was what I thought until a friend recommended this tiny caffe. the coffee tastes remarkably good and there is actually a barista that knows what he does and not just presses a button. I recommend it to anyone who wants to drink real coffee!

The coffee was very good, they have a large variety of hot beverages so its hard to decide! Also we tried 2 different kinds of banana bread which were both very good. I did not like so much that all banana bread slices were wrapped in plastic (Frischhaltefolie). The staff was nice, the inside seating was ok, but not super nice.

the coffee was very good, they have a great choice of hot drinks so hard to decide! also we tried 2 different types of bananenbrot, both very good. the caffe is located in a quiet street and offers a large selection of drinks! really super coffee. probably the best in aahen that I cost. really affordable and has a cool student vibe to him.

in the Milky Way, almost hidden, there is a cafeteria that you can not miss when you coffee in good quality. I also tried a waffel and it was so good. that's really worth it!

Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an veganen Snacks. Die Mitarbeiter sind total nett und die Atmosphäre ist entspannt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Good coffee and several options of vegan banana bread. It is quite small, so it is not a cafe to stay for a longer time.
