This is a very well placed restaurant close to the caves, it's not love at first sight (decoration) but they have a small but save kids garden, they are very kind and helpful and the they serve real good international food. There use to be a day menu that is not expensive at all and if you have young children you can share because it's a big amount of food (for me). The is also a general menu with fish and meat etc. Finally the price is not expensive at all so very recomendable. It's not the typical place for tourists that serve rubbish at high price, I prefer it instead to other places in the way to the caves because of the quality of the food.
We ate here in the evening twice during an eleven night stay in Porto Cristo. First night we had Paella and the 2nd night I had Cuttlefish. Both were very good and beautifully presented. The owner served us both nights and obviously took great pride in the way he served us. Quite old fashioned but still excellent service. It is just across the road from Drach Caves visit here if you go to the caves don't let it go the same way as the other businesses near the Caves.
No es un local lujoso pero la comida está bien presentada, chuletón de tamaño generoso, gallo con cebolla bien preparado, etc. Local amplio, sin problemas de espacio y sin necesidad de reserva y carta amplia para escoger. Buen sitio para ir en familia y sin las tonterías de los restaurantes de diseño, con comida de colorines que no llenan el plato y que pagas un pastón para quedarte con hambre...
Estuve con mi familia comiendo antes de visitar las cuevas de Durc, ya que estábamos muy cerca. Es un lugar con comida casera altamente recomendable. Pedimos un menú de euros donde probamos sopa de relleno, paella y bacalao. Todo muy rico y qué decir del postre: una tarta de queso excelente. Un sitio al que volvería sin duda.

We went there with a group of 8. It was Tour de Tapas, where you get a dish with different food (Paella, a roll with pork, and vegetables, black rice with mussels) for only 1,50. A small beer is only 1€. The service is very nice, they speak English, German, and they explain, what you can select of.
Great variety of meals with typical Balearic taste. I hade some frutos de mar, fish and albondigas, all of them very tasty. If you are searching for comida casera in Mallorca, then this is the Place.

Excelente servicio, personal amable y servicial. Hemos ido muchas veces y nunca hemos quedado decepcionados. Es una lástima que no esté más concurrido.
