sun; Aug. 14 — There was a power failure throughout the city. I went about 30 minutes and tried to find somewhere for lunch. They were open, even without electricity. Even while it rains, the windows have a lot of natural light. Their gas heart deep frit we still work, they said – if I asked if they are still open (in contrast to everywhere else). I would not have held it against them if they had to turn away the guests, but I guess they fed me: I have the “Bar-Tenders” (The French Frittier Plate). ****! Definitely above average! The best house salad (with bleu cheese dressing) I have ever had. Excellent onion soup and Reuben sandwich also. But, the frosting on the cake is excellent service and atmosphere- hard to find sometimes.

I brought my aunt and daughter to dinner, the food was very delicious. The waitress was very nice, she asked us if we needed something. I would recommend the Atlantic salmon

Great lunch and plenty of food. Had the Baja fish tacos. There were 3 tacos, beans and corn on the Cob. Everything was really good. Cole leaned bar and took care of us.

Cool place with decent Prime Rib. The atmosphere is cool because you are in the historic hotel. Look at it when you're in the area.
