China Diner Double Bay

Love eating here, the food is excellent and the service is very friendly. The only negative, and this is not the first time this has occurred, we get someone else's order delivered to our table. This happened three times last night. Our order comes quickly but not sure what happens between the food being made and the instruction to which table to send it to. Highly recommend the barramundi and the salt and pepper squid. The couple we went with are also regulars.

Disappointing food. Quite flavourless bland. Portion sizes were ok but a limited menu. We were not drinking alcohol but we’re not offered water which was surprising. It was expensive for what we got. Ambience was ok but the overall experience was very ordinary. I wouldn’t recommend.

We recently started coming back since covid and have been disappointed with our experience since. Portions are now smaller, service is poor, and several items from the menu we used to like have disappeared. We hope this restaurant can return to what it used to be
