Cocotte et Cie - Reservar una mesa

We visited Perigueux last night and were blown away by the choice of restaurants. We were looking for good value but authentic and tasty food. We happened upon a square that had 10 restaurants competing for business and studiously considered every menu. Or budget is limited so we chose Coccette et Cie because it offered a varied menu at reasonable prices. We were not disappointed. I had Tapas Girandes which was incredible value for money and my partner had cocotte avec ceps, the taste of which was amazing. We both settled for Entrecôte Beouf cooked rare which was tender and cooked to perfection. The service was good, the owner having an eye on everything that was coming out of the kitchen.

Thanks to online reviews we chose Coccette et Cie for a celebratory lunch. Absolutely perfect. It was a late lunch and we were a table of plus a baby, we phoned ahead to book a table. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or...helpful, service was excellent. Then we made our food choices and everyone loved what they had. Three courses and all of them delicious and excellent value for money. Well done to the staff you deserve your good reviews.

Better go early if no reservations. We were lucky to get a table for two outside. It's very small inside. The waiters were busy but wanted us to be happy with everything.

Had lunch here today. Although they were about to close, we were still welcome. Fairly priced menu, with delicious dishes, including some local specialties.

We've eaten in both Cocotte et Clie's - they are both consistently great - tasty well made dishes, and helpful service.
