I like Copper Branch in general, and this place is no exception. The menu is extensive with so many options for everything you can feel like eating packages, sandwiches, soups, bowls, smoothies, numerous desserts, etc. The cheesecake was the best I ever tried! The staff is incredible. They are all friendly and very helpful, definitely above average. Kudos to the administration for choosing the right people. The employees are those who make a big difference. Given the amount of competition, the food alone will not hold back customers. I really enjoy coming to this place while traveling in Ottawa. I highly recommend it. I wish they opened up earlier. In Montreal all CB opened at 8 o'clock.
I work in the judiciary building, just a few minutes from the Copper Branch. I made my way through her entire menu slowly but surely. It started with all day breakfast sandwich and my recent attempt was the limited edition Vegetable Co-Masala. Every time I think I've eaten her best product, I'll be the next time I eat here. The staff is excellent, part of the reason why the food is good is because they really care to work there. Copper Branch is an innovator in plant-based food. Sometimes I come to the world, but when I run through these doors, I remember the future we are moving into. I'm just glad that the menu is sturdy, so I can try new items for months.
I've had the Copper Branch in Barrhaven before and it was a nice change of pace, so decided to try this location as well. It's awkward to access as their exterior door is blocked for construction. Our online order wasn't ready by the pickup time, and the portions/quality of the food is underwhelming for the price. I think if you're going to get a bowl, there's several more affordable and tasty options around than this.
Order 5 bowls for delivery for a work event. Only three bowls appeared. the restaurant called twice for a refund, but both times the representative had no power to initiate the refund and said her superior would call me back. It's been over a month and I still haven't received a refund or a callback. Not acceptable. UPDATE: After booking this review, I was contacted for a refund.
