"As much as I travel up and down 25 between Asheville and Greenville, I?ve never really paid this place any attention. Until one day I had a friend in the car who recommended we stop in. It was the best decision we both could have made. The shrimp and grits, are amazing. Along with the Fried Green Tomatoes, and sweet potato crunch. From the patrons to the staff everyone was nothing but pleasant. I will be back soon."

Hidden gem. Be aware it is easy to fly past this place so keep your eyes peeled. Super friendly staff and all of them were very helpful. The menu has a great variety of items to choose from. Great home style lunch and dinner options, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. I had the chicken and berry salad over spinach and it was not only delicious but loaded with chicken. My guest had the fried green tomato BLT with sweet potato fries. The fries appeared to be an entire sweet potato sliced and fried to perfection. They also served it with caramel sauce wich made the incredibly decadent. We also ordered the Duo Dip Appetizer. It came with warm spinach dip and pimento cheese dip and what seemed like...
Greeter/waitress, very nice. Place was clean and neat. Service was fast and food arrived quickly. The food and serving size was almost exactly like my mom used to make. I had the roast beef over rice and it was tender and very tasty. The Mac and cheese tasted home made. The rice was slightly over-cooked which is exactly how I like it! The fried okra could have been a bit warmer but it was good anyway. There were beautiful deserts but I was very full halfway thru the meal and ended up leaving food on the plate. Once again, this will remind you of home. Outside is plenty of family fun with swings, farm animals, etc. This is a place for all to enjoy. Country atmosphere and food at its best!!
Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I was disappointed. I don't like leaving bad reviews but it's the only way a business will take the Initiative to improve. The staff was wonderful and the presentation was great. I got the country fried steak and my mom got the fried flounder which both were ok???? The rice&gravy was on point and the greenbeans were the typical can kind but the mac-n-cheese had to be replaced because it had obviously spoiled. To me that's the head cooks fault for not tasting the food before putting out for consumption. Hopefully they'll make adjustments to improve on the quality of their food.
We stopped in randomly just because we were passing by and we are soooo glad we did! Best blue cheese burger and my husband got their country fried steak and devoured it. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Service was outstanding. There were a few flies that were sort of annoying but that's probably because they have free ranging goats, chickens, and even a turkey! Our 2 year old loved looking at the animals and I almost forgot to mention their banana pudding! Heaven sent, my guys ate every bite!! Really nice down home friendly place!
