Dairy Queen (treat)

Stopping by on my way home, I am craving an Orange Julius and my son asked for a S 'mores milkshake. I read exactly how my son wanted it so I did not mess it up and ordered a medium Orange Julius. The kids working were nice and helpful and handled the line well. But my drank was 3/4 full and the milkshake was a mess. I get home and I am told it was a Blizzard and not a milkshake. My son he gets them all the time at this location. I called and the person said they would text their boss and leave a note and they would get in touch with me today. I wasn 't waiting by my phone for the call, but waited to post this review until the end of the day. As of 5:08, still no call.

Been living in town for a while and have driven by multiple times, but never in. I was in the mood to try a blizzard, so I went in. First, the location is somewhat tough to see as it is in the corner of a small shopping center. Location is also blocked by a large tree so you can easily drive by. Also bad signage. Second, seating outside exists but nothing inside. I will say the interior is small and somewhat dated. The menu is mainly blizzards and smoothies, but no food like other locations. Blizzard was very good so worth the stop in. I wish it was in better location as it would be busier. I will be back in future.

Ordered on the application at this store for pick up and the teenagers at the store said they never received the order. We pulled up proof that the order was sent and charged to my debit card and then 3 kids looked at my wife like she was crazy and wouldn’t fill the order. This happened on 9/10/2023. The children were very unprofessional and laughed when I explained to them what happened. I don’t know if it was a glitch in the app, but these children were not professional and we will not be returning to this Dairy Queen ever again.

DQ in Portland is very good. Big restaurant with outdoor seating. Burgers at DQ are under rated. Always the same good ice cream menu. Friendly prompt service. I will return.

Our go-to place for ice cream cakes. They even hired some friendly people to work.
