I went to this restaurant with a friend for dinner after work and asked for the vegan menu. The cashier, a girl with disheveled hair and unappealing dress code, had a rude attitude. When I mentioned I wanted a vegan meal, she asked what kind of cheese I wanted on it, to which I responded that I wanted vegan cheese. She seemed annoyed but said she would make sure to put the vegan cheese on my order. However, before I could input my email for a receipt, she went back to the cash register to change the order. I was not impressed with this restaurant. While I typically enjoy a good coney, the Detroit coney with cheese that I ordered was disappointing. The cheese was forgotten and the overall taste of the dish felt very artificial, like Hormel chili poured over a plain hot dog. It was slightly better than the coney at Sonic, but I will not be returning. On the upside, the service was excellent - the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

It was my first time here a few days ago. It brings back great Midwest memories through classics such as the Detroit coney and, SUPERMAN ice cream. That flavor is hard to come by out here. The nostalgia I felt when I tasted the delicious ? mouthwatering trifecta of three flavors into one blend. I cried a little. Inner child healed. I came back today just to get some to take home!

This is the perfect spot to spend $30 on a few drinks, a chili dog, and chili cheese fries. I absolutely loved it. Don't be deceived by the chairs being flipped upside down on the tables - they are still open for business. I almost passed by, thinking they were closed, but decided to give it a try anyway.
