beautiful setting with lovely food. we have booked for the afternoon tee and were warmly welcomed at our arrival. we had a beautiful table at the window with magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. the afternoon tea was very well presented with fresh homemade products that all had a small twist on the normal eating. tee was plentiful and refilled as desired and we were full at the end and could not eat everything. the house made makkaronen, where delicious and a real tasty egg. we recommend a visit and go back to lunch or dinner.

last Friday we had a fantastic lunchtime in downham hall. we were warmly welcomed at our arrival and shown on our table. it followed beverages and delicious snacks, and then we met our choices for our 3-course lunch. every cure was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. our compliments to the chef! we then had the opportunity to see the other rooms and also the grounds and the marquee. would be highly recommended.

Great place to eat, lovely atmosphere and views over garden and countryside. Beautiful building, comfortable and relaxing with an air of elegance. Excellent food and service. Looking forward to returning.

we had a nice afternoon. it was my friends birthday party and they made it special by making them out a happy birthday sign and glass prosecco. a very beautiful note.
