I was there for dinner with colleagues and had a very negative experience. Firstly we had to wait too long for the food to arrive and when that finally came, not everything was according to what we ordered. The personnel was so rude when taking the orders or serving and we had waited for so long, that we kept quiet about the mistakes. I usually don't eat a lot, but I found the quantity of the main dish rather small. The beer on the other hand was replacing itself without asking. Definitely not going there again.

We were a business trip group of 20+ people having dinner in that restaurant for the third time. It took them 4 hours to bring us a mediocre main dish, desert and some drinks. After a misunderstanding concerning the bill, the owner of the location became very agressive and loud when we talked to her. We felt bad, exploited and treated unfairly, so we won‘t come back to that restaurant.

Won't recommend this place at all. It was almost empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The service is poor and the waiter also tried to trick us, charging us extra 2€. He thought we didn't have a look at the menu before so he tried his luck. But 10€50 for 2 alt and a pils didn't sound right... He just thought we were tourists and wanted to get some extra money.

Very good brewery with really hefty portions. Really good pork knuckles and one of the best altbeers. Good service and children friendly. It is a bit off the beaten track of Düsseldorf, so expect a more authentic experience and bigger portions compared to the breweries in the Altstadt. Also the prices are more reasonable.

Average food in combination with long waiting times and unacceptable unfriendly staff. Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time.
