El Sapo Cuban Social Club

I was here twice, and I love it! The drinks are very good (also very strong) and cost-effective. The food is also very delicious! This seems to be a popular neighborhood hangout as there are always many cartridges, but I understand why. The staff is great! Very friendly and personal, they make the experience even better. I also love that they play Latin (mainly Cuban) music. This is definitely one of the better happy hour options in downtown Silver Spring, I'm sure I'll be back soon!

The location is beautifully placed in downtown silver spring at the edge of the shopping center. Nice music and food. On the expensive side. The hosts are very friendly and respectful. The atmosphere is very lively after the darkness and the restaurant has an open type of area. About all, if you want to treat the self to a pretty chic meal, I would recommend.

Very nice and clean environment. There were exterior and interior seats. The food was very delicious. I recommend this place for some very authentic flavors. The Mojito was very refreshing. Not shown are the desserts that were also delicious. My friend mentioned that there is not something like the perfect flan, but that's pretty close.

Excellent service and staff; we received free mojitos when we arrived while we waited for our party to arrive. The restaurant atmosphere was vibrant, hip, and loud ; felt like I was in Latin America. The food was delicious: try the ceviche, ropa vieja, and flan, in that order.
