Heidelberg Lounge- Ehem. Ernas Gut' Stubb

We were staying at the Hotel Heidelberg and feeling lazy after a day in the old town, so chose to stay in and eat there. We were not disappointed. I opted for the XXL schnitzel which was very good, whilst my wife chose the locally...made bratwurst on sauerkraut, which she really enjoyed. We also had a bottle of a local wine of a type called weissherbst a honey coloured rose wine which was excellent. Add in two coffees and the bill came to Service was very good too, and we never had to wait long. A very enjoyable meal.

that waited for me. although not excessively much was going on, we had to wait for the sparingly cream soup and also the main dish about half an hour each. too long for our feelings. but that was worth it. the spasm dishes and also the maispoulardenbrust on estragonsauce were excellent, especially the sauce. also the Argentineian rumpsteak was roasted on the spot. I would visit the restaurant at any time.

my second time that I visited the hotel since I had the Rump-Steak and a light beer. this restaurant was just as good as I remembered. great quality, authentic and delicious food. very nice staff and cozy environment. they also offer a beautiful traditional...German breakfast in the morning. the restaurant is a great atmosphere to stay in the hotel. nice job!

Had dinner last night at Erna's Gut Stubb. A little old world charm, beautiful asparagus soup, Hawaii turkey with a seasoned grilled pineapple on top and a rich glistening sauce. Service was spot on. When traveling I rarely go back to the same restaurant twice...(so I can experience more eateries) but this may be the exception. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food and service in a super atmosphere. We have used this restaurant several times when staying at the hotel. Very interesting menu with typical German dishes as well as local specialties; large, tasty helpings at very reasonable prices.

This is the hotel restaurant at Hotel Heidelberg. The food tastes amazing and it is some of the best German food I have had while in Germany. I wished I live in Heidelberg as I would come here all the time!
