Extremely disappointed. The iced matcha latte wasn’t properly mixed at all—it was just milk with a heap of dry matcha powder dumped on top. Every sip was full of bitter, chalky clumps, making it completely undrinkable. I wish I had taken a photo before mixing it, but even after stirring, the matcha chunks just settled at the bottom. The cold foam was the only thing that stood out, but no amount of foam can fix such a poorly prepared drink. It felt lazy and careless, like they’ve never actually made matcha before. Service was takeout only. Price per person: $10–20. Food: 1/5. Service: 1/5. Atmosphere: 3/5.

I used to really love this place—the coffee, the atmosphere, and that rich, strong coffee aroma right as you walked in. But lately, their coffee tastes watered down, and some of the staff don’t seem very attentive to customers. I also wonder why the delightful coffee scent has faded away. I miss how it used to be, especially since it’s still a fairly new spot. After reading my review, I’m impressed by the owner’s response. Great coffee shop on Washington Street. The cortado was excellent, and the whole group enjoyed their drinks! A lovely spot with friendly service. Perfect for takeout. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
