We were in the sun with six people because we were already too often in the Swiss court in the same place. We had reserved the seats. We got a table in the front. The restaurant was well filled. The service power came right past the freight cards. We didn't get a drink card. We had four different main dishes. As an appetizer we took the carrot ginger soup with orange fillets. Unfortunately, we did not notice a ginger taste. The salad buffet was clear and had only one leaf salad. Very nice guest house with great value for money! The inn is modernly equipped, offers good parking for the car, nice clean rooms and has a very friendly staff, which looks after the guests’ concerns. We had booked breakfast, which was also super and rich, with fresh coffee and a boiled egg (while you were asked each time kindly how to cook this, top! You could choose from a rich menu. This inn can also be used well for business trips or a short holiday. The city of VS-Villingen is only about 5 km away and can even be reached cheaply (approximately 4 EUR a daily ticket by bus from Upper Chess. Gemütliches helles Restaurant. Bequeme Sitze ( Stühle und Bänke ). Das Essen war leider nicht ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Das Rumpsteak war leider nicht Medium sondern schon ziemlich durch, dann war noch ein Haar auf dem Teller ( haben wir aber nicht ). Die Schnitzel der Kinder waren soweit in Ordnung. Nur der Zander war gut und genießbar. Sehr positiv muss ich allerdings das Salatbuffet erwähnen, reichliche Auswahl und sehr schmackhaft.Alles in allem, ist es so, dass wir hier sehr wahrscheinlich nicht mehr vorbei kommen.Es sind zwar normale Preise, aber das rechtfertig nicht, ein wieder kommen.Schade eigentlich. Kenne das Restaurant von früher und war jetzt seit sehr langer Zeit mal wieder...

Da die Nachbargaststätte zu voll wahr, bin ich 300 m weiter.Ich habe es nicht bereut. Schöner heller Gastraum, freundliche Bedienung.Zur Küche.Das Rumpsteak war genau richtig, medium leicht blutig, so wie ich es mag. Salatbuffet regional und frisch.komme gerne wieder
