Harzrockcafe " Das Lokal " the place to visit, for sure ; the best restaurant in town. Good music, fantastic decoration, a bit crazy and the best steaks and spareribs. Nice terrace in the back and during the summer once or twice a week the famous " Grill Abend " ; all in price for steaks, spareribs, sausages, salades, etc. They know how to grill a fine piece of meat. Friendly staff/owner who always takes care of you and creates a nice atmosphere. They are the only bar in the neighbourhood who serves the famous fresh draught " Wippraer " beer. We have a small holidayhome in the neighbourhood, and each time we're in town, this is our place to go. So, If your in town, you have to go here !!!!!

Beautiful terrace in the back and in summer once or twice a week of the famous barbecue evening; all in the price for steaks, asparagus, sausage, salads, etc. You know how to grill a fine piece of meat. Friendly staff/owner who always cares for you and creates a beautiful atmosphere. They are the only bar in the neighborhood that serves the famous fresh Wippraer beer. We have a small cottage in the neighborhood, and every time we are in town, this is our place to go. So, if you are in town, you have to go here!!!!

The steaks are good, his hamburgers are so big that I can't finish it. the beer is from a local brewery and it is very good. friendly service.
