Highlander Bbq In Roan Mounta

I would have to rate this as thr best barbecue place in the truck cities. We always get the family meal. It comes with a pound of meat 4 buns, coleslaw, baked beans and 4 drinks and is cheaper than going to McDonald's-around 28 bucks. If you want extra meat they offer that option by the pound or half pound. They have the best sauces besides Ridgewood BBQ, our favorites the Highlander and Spicy. Great selection of foods and sides. Highlander fries are to die for and so are the cheddar rounds. You can choose from pork or chicken with your meet. The offer deserts. And the place is so welcoming and makes you feel at home. The staff are all super friendly.

Been here a few times. The food always brings us back. The barbecue is the best! Wish there were more choices of BBQ sauce, but the choices they have are good. Ordering and service is a little confusing at first. It's a little crowded in there but it's all good. Prices aren't bad either.

A small Bbq restaurant. Had the pulled pork, was disappointed to see it was plain, cooked down pork then shredded and bbq sauces in squeeze bottles provided to put into the pulled pork. I had expected a very tasty southern type Bbq. Not impressed at all.

Not only was my sandwich F’ing AMAZING… but the blonde cashier who graciously dealt with my 20+ questions was absolutely stunning lovely so, yeah

The best coleslaw I have ever had in my life. The owner even had cake and a candle so I could surprise my fiance for his birthday.
