Hugo's Agoura Hills, Los Angeles: If you are looking for healthy food, gluten-free, vegan it is the right place to go. Or wherever your preference is, they can always accommodate you, just ask. Also not vegan or gluten-free is served. Cool place for family breakfast, brunch or lunch too. It was our first time to eat there, my husband ordered a reuben sandwich, the Hugo's homemade rye bread with olive oil and garlic, roasted over a flat grid plate, then with homemade vegan salami, Russian dressing, sauerkraut and melted Parmela Cashew cheese. I ordered a chicken marsala: chicken breast fillets sauteed with mixed mushrooms, garlic and herbs, finished with marsala wine, cream and butter. Served...

Food, atmosphere and service great in Agoura Hills, although the menu suffers from an identity crisis. First, the food from my group's reaction was great overboard. Favourites were the BBQ Turkey Sandwich, Indian Bowl and Shepherd's Pie. Get the Sticky Buns for Dessert... You can't go wrong, as they have two huge churro cinnamon buns deep fried and crushed in a caramel and pecan sauce. Yum. Their eclectic drinks are delicious green tea-limmonade tastes better than it looks. Service was attentive and professional, server gave us all (15 people) appetizer boards to share with additional utensils. Very nice. Now to the mess that is the menu, I am not sure how to describe what kind of food Hugo...

Absolutely five stars and I'll tell you why. At first it is all friendly (including small children), special diets and large groups. The food is amazing, good value and of course the cook took time to prepare a menu that serves a wide range of pallets. Almost everything on the menu can be changed vegetarian and almost all vegan. The food and service were both top notch and it was heartwarming to see that the maitre d' give a huge hug to his son when his wife brought the children to say hi to Papa. The fact that they have such a family vibe while making great food is a place I will visit more than once. I recommend both regular and vegan Mac n' cheese for a starter, with roasted pimples, all...

Love this place. Eat here all the time. The menu is like a book...it goes on and on. So many gluten free options (almost everything on the menu). You never have to get the same thing twice. The only thing I've ever gotten that I didn't like was the nachos. The tamales are out of this world. Almost always get those and plantains. Mmm. A little pricey but quality meets the price.
