Omer is truly among the best restaurant owners, showcasing a remarkable understanding of the hospitality industry. I often bring my Canadian friends here just to see their amazed reactions. The portion sizes are twice as large as anywhere else serving Turkish shawarma or kebabs. The team—Emine, Demet, Busra, Elif, and several others whose names I can’t recall—are all fantastic and provide excellent service. As someone who has owned a doner machine and has been marinating shawarma since I was around 12 or 13, I can confidently say this place serves the best around. I am a huge fan of Istanbul Doner House! Their menu showcases wonderfully fresh dishes packed with authentic flavors, particularly the doner and mixed grill platters. The restaurant is always lively (and rightly so), yet the service is prompt and exceptionally welcoming. The staff frequently go the extra mile, often providing complimentary tea or dessert.
