I had never experienced a bad visit to KFC before, but unfortunately, this time was an exception. The service was very poor. I waited in line for over 25 minutes, hoping to grab a quick bite to eat during my shopping trip at Grove Retail Park. The person taking orders only served one customer at a time, leaving the rest of us waiting. It seemed like online orders were given priority over in-person customers. The staff appeared overworked and uninterested in serving customers efficiently. Despite the long line, nothing was being done to address it. There were no apologies or explanations from the staff. One man handled the entire drive-thru process by himself, taking orders, payments, and delivering the orders. It was extremely busy and I felt sorry for him. Despite that, he remained friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect, but the wait time was too long for me to go back and get it fixed. They may need more staff during peak hours.
The restaurant serves regular large pieces of chicken, but occasionally there are very small pieces when purchasing a party bucket. It is a halal franchise, making it a good option for Muslim customers. It is recommended to double check orders before leaving.
