My recent stay at Hotel La Mandarine in Piolenc was nothing short of a nightmare. I booked the hotel with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be an utterly horrible experience. From the moment we arrived, it became evident that this place was far from what we had expected. To start, the owner's behavior was shocking and completely unacceptable. He was constantly drinking, which led to inappropriate and aggressive behavior towards both children and dogs. As a family with three small kids and a furry companion, we felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe during our entire stay. Bar on site We spent a memorable weekend at LA MANDARINE. First of all a big thank you to Nelly, her son and her husband, who form a great team, with a welcome and assistance of great quality. The building is exceptional and very pleasant rooms. We arrived a little by chance, and we do not regret this choice. The charm of the place invites us to come back and the region is worth a visit.
We visited this beautiful place in low season on the way. The hostess welcomed us very friendly, flexible, enchanted a rich breakfast also suitable for vegetarians and shared her knowledge about the country house and the region.
