On a sunny, dry afternoon in early June and after 35 km (about half of it single track) of heavy mountain biking up and down Val d' Anniviers we intended to take a nice break for coffee et al. and felt we had earned it. We were on the final stretch of our tour from Fang to Chippis when we spotted this beautifully located Restaurant in a turn of the main access highway into Val d' Anniviers. I have now met the rudest person in the whole of Valais, the owner of the lovely looking restaurant. I wanted to book 10 people for mid September, a time when you would have thought he would be glad of the custom. I was nearly matched off the premises. He was rude aggressive and very unpleasant. He needs to sell this lovely restaurant to someone who likes clients. I feel sorry for anyone that ever complains they will no doubt be subject to the same abuse. It would have been 1 hour sat outside, a simple easy way of making good money. I am completely shocked how someone can be so rude. Perhaps he just hates foreigners!!
