the boss is in the kitchen, mixing simple and gourmet recipes, generous. the boss is at service and explains that here all the products are fresh, harvested in the vicinity when it is not directly the vegetable garden of the house. And that's true, the crudity plate is greedy, the melon has a taste. The thigh is fine and delicate. The lard's cod is rusticly good. at lunchtime this early December 2016, what a pleasure to revisit this hostel. mr and mme jousy are always present, it's more than reassuring. It is even the certainty of having breakfast again in this very small town bordered by the come, not far from the fortress of chinon and AZAY-le-RIDEAU and its very very nice castle, bordered by the island. here, at this table that 100% local products and cooked with a gourmet simplicity and a couple of passionate restaurateur. We were very well received, a little "like home," for a delicious dinner with family. everything was very good and copied, for a more than reasonable addition. it is an address to recommend if you like the right kitchen, simple, with seasonal products. Everyone's having fun!

Very kind. products are always fresh, from the market and from the season. simple cuisine of great mother but prepared with care and with very good local products. If you want to find the good taste of a family kitchen without chichi it is the ideal place!

We visited this excellent restaurant last week and were very sorry to find that it has now closed and been transformed back into a private house. According to the locals the owners have retired and sold the property.
