I just enjoyed a delicious meal at the Lou Pistou! A tasteful tomato salad, a fillet of Cabillaud, which tasted like the sky, and a unique dessert of roasted figs. This is a small restaurant with a small kitchen. So I was disappointed, but not surprised to learn that they did not have a dedicated frit, so I could try the Niçoise speciality, Panisse (Chickpea fries). The small kitchen, however, means that everything is to be ordered, and about 1/2 to 2/3 of the menu (depending on day) can be gluten-free. Thus, I was disappointed but not surprised to learn that they do not have a dedicated fryer so that I could try the niçoise specialty, panisse (chickpea fries). If you're a little romantic and want to taste local cuisine, this is the place to go. last nice dinner and we visited lou pistou. small place that doesn't attract your attention. few tables inside and you can see the kitchen from where you are sitting. only a few dishes offered and all based on the ingredients available each season. all we ordered was incredible. To begin with, we had fried zucchini flowers and tomato pie. If you go, tomato pie is a must. The flavour of tomatoes, olive oil, oregon, etc. was something else. for the main dishes, we had the octopus and the redt. We could feel the sea while they cooked the fish and we enjoyed every bite. enjoy this restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. very beautiful authentic local cuisines. friendly staff and excellent service. highly recommended for a dinner after a hot day at the beach. That's exactly what you need to complete your trip to nice!
