Lucio Carbón y Vino

I had dinner here twice, once alone, once with a group of friends. Lucio came highly recommended by some friends in Medellin. They have great Argentinian-style steaks, delicious ceviches, salads and Argentinian style sausage sandwiches (I guess delicious grilled sausages between two slices of crispy and feather light French bread would qualify as a sandwich). The wine list, with lots of Malbecs and Chilean reds. Lovely desserts as well. If you are in the area, don't miss it.

Comida increíble con una variedad de opciones, personal muy amable (¡algunos incluso hablan inglés!, gran ambiente elegante con un tema divertido. La única queja es que los camareros tardaron mucho en entregar las bebidas o la factura a pedido y estaban más interesados Al hablar con los otros servidores... nos llevó casi 20 minutos regresar con la cerveza que pedimos y 30 minutos regresar con la factura.

Background...I work on sales so I have to travel a lot.. A LOT.I know fine dining and cheap dining.If you are looking for a good piece of steak go anywhere but Lucio.. My steak was hard as a piece of wood.. and I had to send it back.. they sent me another one... harder that the first one.. and guess what.. I paid for it..Just don't ... please save your money for a better steak place.

I ordered the salmon, while both my family members ordered the steak, all 3 meals were very good and made just right, the meat was flavorful and the sides were very well prepared, their coconut lemonade was very good and the service was fast and good, would recommend coming to thus place for a mid-price meal! Realmente disfrutamos de este restaurante. El jefe, el personal y los propietarios realmente se preocupan por su experiencia. Mi familia es muy difícil de complacer, pero siempre superando las expectativas. El ambiente es muy personal y auténtico. Pedimos muchas cosas y nunca quedamos insatisfechos.

Excellent food, nice wine list and attentive service. While the focus seems to be on red meats there are other fine choices. The salad with grilled chicken was excellent, perhaps the best salad in Medellin / Envigado area. The grill vegetables are way better than one finds in other area restaurants.

It's really a nice spot. Not large so you probably need to make a reservation. The steaks were great as was the wine. I would definitely recommend when in Medellin / Envigado. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was ok the service was a bit slow and in total I ate here twice. I didn't dislike the place it's just not as good as I thought it would be.

Excellent steaks (really great) and good service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Medellin and looking for a good steak.
