Lupe Tortilla - Reservar una mesa

This will be a short review...no one has better fajitas, better margaritas, a better patio, and better service than Lupe Tortilla at Kirby and 59!!! Do yourself a favor, if you need a bit of sunshine in your life right now, ask to be served Stephen Pedro. Trust me on this!!!! The most authentically sweet young man in restaurant service in Houston. He will make your day. Also, if you need an extra special touch with your service, ask for Beau. He'll make sure that everything turns out well. I'm kinda hating doing this review because this is my favorite patio in Houston. Don't y'all crowd me out when it gets warmer, but do go and enjoy the great food, drinks, and service!

The chicken fajitas were outstanding. I know I will catch some flack here but the steak fajitas, although so very tender, we're just way too overly seasoned. The guac was really good. I was with two older individuals and it didn't make sense that they would seat a table full of screechy, loud women literally right next to us. The restaurant wasn't even busy. We couldn't enjoy it so the entire visit just didn't quite meld together as expected. Next time I come to town I will give it another try. Had such high expectations.

Service and Food was Amazing! Our waiter Guillermo was attentive and recommended many delicious options from drinks to food. Managers also checked on us and allowed us to sample their beef Fajita. We left full and happy with our choice of dining at Lupe Tortilla.

I miss good Mexican food, especially Lupe. One critique is that I need Lupe in Iowa…Had Lupe for the first time in 7 years, did not disappoint.

This place was highly recommended, had fajitas and they were excellent. Lovely atmosphere.
