have enjoyed Mel has been for a few decades, and it is never disappointed! Everything on the menu is great, nothing you can go wrong with. Had a stop at a Sat evening at 5:00 and could get a table within a few minutes. Decorated on their onion rings, fried mushrooms, bacon cheeseburger (normal size!... not the Mel or Mega-Mel) and the Monte Christo. The food is always hot, crispy and not greasy. The hostess and wait staff are super friendly and even tho the waiting staff go what seems like a million miles an hour.. You still care about you! The only Ni-Pick on our meal this time, was with the Monte Christo... they needed to melt the cheese in a sandwich before roasting! This sandwich must be...

We showed up on a busy Saturday lunch and could get a table for 4 within minutes. The food was great. The chicken steak was epic and delicious. The smaller size was still much big. The chicken steak fingers were also delicious. I tried the chicken aguacat. It had Cajun spices, avocado, pico de gallo and cheese. All right! The maize bread was also great, a little sweet. The service was also good. We would highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is not very accommodating for those who are gluten-free, and the wait staff don't seem to prioritize accommodating dietary restrictions. The fries were disappointing, as they were broken and not as fresh as they could have been.

The chicken fried steak, hamburgers, and catfish at this restaurant are all excellent. The food here is amazing! The portions are generous, with even the smaller chicken fried steak being satisfying.
