Mezcalito Oaxacan Cuisine

I've been here 10-15 times in the last 4 years and never been disappointed. Many dishes and meat are classic Oaxacan, such as their cecina, tasajo, Mole, Tlayuda and Salsas. The Tlayuda is my favorite, with a crispy tostada, creamy beans and avocado, tangy cherry tomatoes, and the meat (or grilled vegetables! from your choice. If you are intimidated by the selection, the pastor wrap is a total crowd gift. The vegetarian section of the menu is a beautiful touch. There is a lot of pride in the decoration of the restaurant and presentation of the food. You even have Modelo Negra on Hahn! It's great to have such a place in the area.

This is a unique dining experience. The food here is wonderful, with flavors we 've never had in a Mexican restaurant before. The orange mole sauce was so delicious we kept eating it off my husband 's plate even though the dishes we ordered were great too. The appetizers were also a real treat. Allow yourself plenty of time to try a little of everything with the time to savor every bite. This is our new favorite. Go about 11:45 AM for lunch if you want an inside seat, it fills up fast!

Wow, this food is excellent! Everything fresh and full of flavor! The best tamale i have ever had hands down! The chile verde is soft and melts in your mouth bursting with flavor! The steak enscebollado was perfect, meat was tender everything paired well! The horchata was delicious too! We will definetly return when we come to this side of town! I recommend a visit!

The first time I've eaten here, I have to say that it's the most authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Our server was amazing that she thought very well how busy it was on Friday night. I'll be back.

Our first time in this restaurant. My wife and I were happy. Friendly service and very well prepared food. I can't wait to go back.
