Monte Vesuvio Italian Grill

Went to this restaurant based on the good reviews. It took 5 minutes for us to be grudgingly acknowledged. Maybe our server was having a bad day, but he was unpleasant to us. We ordered pizza that was pretty good but cold. It wasn't busy, and the people around us looked to be enjoying their meals. We definitely felt unwelcome and marked this one off our list.

Only had a chance to make it out here twice but both times have been great. The staff is super friendly, and the food and portion sizes are wonderful. Only reason I give a four star is our booth the seats were a little dirty and my gnochi seemed a little under cooked but otherwise great.

Food is fresh and delicious. We had a family of 7 with picky kids and they loved it! Restaurant is clean and has an open feel. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Food is well priced! Don't forget the garlic knots!Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with customizable pasta options.

Food was average to poor. Mozzarella stick where too heavily breaded and served with a watered down, bland marinara. Pasta was served with a bland sauce. Pizzas are excellent- great dough/crust. Ambiance was not great. Live music was a very nice touch.

Great restaurant! Food is good and the service is great. The staff knows us after only a few times going here and we live the live music on Saturday nights.
