Mountain Nepalese Restaurant and Cafe

We dined at Mountain Nepalese Restaurant and Cafe as we had a Shopper Docket - the discount lunch was lovely, food tasty and service was spot on.We decided to go back the following week for dinner and were a little disappointed. Although the food was tasty we were limited to the choice of dishes due to the deal that we chose. For dessert we had ice cream which was obviously out of date as it was icy and didn't quite taste right. The atmosphere is nice for lunch, but not so much for a dinner. Staff are nice and friendly.

Have eaten here twice now with Groupon vouchers & loved it. Prices on the menu looked about average. The food was nice & fresh & hot. The Momo dumplings are delicious dipped in the spicy sauce they came with, as was a paneer dish we tried, Mushroom mutter, Chicken Saag & Lamb curry were all yummy. Garlic naan bread & saffron rice were just right. Deserts were tasty also. Great service. Surprised it wasn't busier. We will return & recommend.

This place is amazing for Nepalese food. Have good food and always have been served fresh and hot food, unlike other restaurants .If you like Nepalese food this place is must visit. Must try lamb Korma and chicken tikka masala.Nice and clean and the best, very humble staff. Value for money - try it out!!!!

We went there for lunch, unaware that it was 1/2 an hour before their normal closing time. They still made us feel welcomed. Even when we changed our minds about the dish after having already ordered it was not a problem. Food was excellent.

Starting with the bad news, I have to say the amount of time it took for the entree to come out was 30 minutes too long.
