"Vasco Coccato and his family started in Castrop-Rauxel in 1960 with their first ice shop. The company expanded over the years. The sons do business today. The activities have probably moved from the Ruhr area to the north of the Republic. Since 2011, some ice cream cafes have been taken over and renovated in Bremerhaven. There are four branches in the city. They are all called “Venezia” or “Coccato”. Ambiente The store at the Columbus Center was renovated and opened on 11 February 2015. The wide entrance is located on the shopping street and invites you to stay. You can see all the places and catch your eye on his table. The cards are on the plates. Chairs and benches change. Cleanliness The shop buzzes and constantly come and go people. The service forces try to make the tables free quickly and wipe briefly over the places. Service At the counter are several people who constantly produce and decorate the portions and cups. There are several vendors in the store that share the work in Revieren. Everyone has a small computer to enter the orders. These are processed immediately. This allows you to quickly serve and can also pay the same amount (a written document is available on request . We have been able to observe various service personnel at our visits: they are busy, give information, but are not excessively friendly. This has to do with the big business, but leads little to tipping. The map In all branches are uniform maps. The dishes can be seen in pictures. The ingredients and prices are not included. The offer is great. We particularly liked the various possibilities of spaghetti ice cream. Tasty food We've tried four ice cream offers on two visits. Tartufo ice cream (5,20 € The dish is offered as a specialty. It is an ice bomb filled with brandy, which is completely covered with many chocolate rasps. Cream and Amarena cirches round off the picture. The ice cream tastes delicious and is delicate as all varieties here. The cream is fresh and beautifully foamy. The cherries have a great aroma. Only the brandy seems to be a spicy tasting variety. That made a little enjoyment. The other cups were but without if and but great. Tagliatelle ice cream (4.50 € The dish is at the spaghetti varieties. It consists of vanilla ice cream, pistachios ice cream in Tagliatelle form, cream and strawberry sauce. The pistachio ice cream was cultivated for me; because I've never found this variety so well before. I liked vanilla and cream, though. I highly recommend this court. It was perfect for me. Carbonara (4.90 € Also a spaghetti ice cream from the map. There's a lot of fruit next to the ice. The plate looks creative as a composition. The alcohol “Eierlikör” does not interfere here; on the contrary: It is harmonious in combination with fruit and ice. Amarena Mug (4,30 € vanilla ice cream, cream, cherries and amarenas sauces form a great tasteful unit. When we go into a new ice cream, we usually order an Amarena cup and a spaghetti ice cream as a starting point for a comparison. You get them almost everywhere and we have an idea of the taste. We would also like to take three to five balls from the offer: Vanille is especially important for us; then still cream and fruit varieties. Price-quality ratio The ice is not given away – but quantity and taste are right here. Conclusion 5 – absolutely again. The ice tastes really great and the quality does not seem to be subject to any fluctuations. The “speakable” operation is fine. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” Date of visits: 26.02. and 02.03.2015"
