Family birthdays A return visit for the family. A great spot with sea level views. The menu is has a good variety. Women and men in the group and hungry. The food was appalling. Entree prawns tasted frozen and just fried in poor batter. Scallops were overcooked in a sauce that’s flavour overpowered the scallop. Basically thick cream. All sauce few scallops.Fish and chips just like Mc Donald’s . Poor presentation . Seventies dinner plates and a loud rude waitress who presented the bill before we asked for it as they only had 2 other customers and she wanted to leave early. Absolutely disgusting! Do not waste your money. The other reviews must have been constructed by friends. They could not be authentic based on my experience. Hadn’t been here for 22 years and will never return. I can’t believe it has survived so long other than location.
This wonderful family run restaurant has a reputation and history to uphold. I was not let down by beautiful fresh seafood, starting with oysters natural with a tangy vinegarette to accompany which we shared with the most tasty housemade tarama and crackers. We followed up by sharing the chilli butter bugs and the fish and chips, what a special setting to enjoy great service and food.
