We recently hosted our wedding party at Papa's and are far beyond elated that we did. From initial request, no detail was too big or small. If we hadn't thought of something, Chloe and Rob suggested it and offered a solution. On the day itself, Sophie and Cameron looked after us from morning til evening, ensuring perfect running order and seamless service. I was here for my son and new son-in-laws wedding celebrations on the 5th November. What can I say .... exclusive use for us for the evening, the service was just perfect and they took time to listen to what was wanted. The tables were set just as they were asked for and even stored the cake until it was put out just before we got there. The table service given was just perfect (this is not something that is normally provided). Sophie and Cameron were happy to help in any way .. happy polite and just an absolute credit to the restaurant. We met as a family for our parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Fish and chips being a favourite of theirs. The meals where cooked to perfection, with such large portions. The service was outstanding. I want to say a huge thank you to Sophie and Chloe who went above and beyond to make this meal extra special and helping us to create happy family memories. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

We called in for a meal on our way home and it was really enjoyable. Lovely crispy batter and freshly cooked. We chose the medium haddock and chips, which proved a very generous helping and was extremely filling. Excellent service from Evie who looked after us really well. She was very polite, friendly and helpful, with a lovely sunny smile. Shall definitely call again sometime, thank you.

Papas is a revolution in fish and chips. A British classic that is brought into modern spaces. The Bilton restaurant is always clean, open, welcoming and warm. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Sophie, who was our amazing waitress! If you are looking for the best of the best in the fish and chips industry, do not look further.

Stopped at the Bilton branch on our way home. The premises are always very clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Today was no exception, my fish was perfect thanks to John the fryer and Evie our server was very polite but friendly and chatty while serving us. I prefer this branch to the others in Hull. Highly recommended

Great food, whether sitting in or taking it away, always tasty and never oily! Great staff too, Chloe the manager keeps everything clean and tidy, and makes sure staff are well trained and on the ball with everything. Worth trying if you haven't had it yet! Their prices are great for what you get. Definitely going again

Absolutely fantastic. The menu had us in tricks. So original. Long car ride wanted food and that was the first place. It was so glad. The staff were amazing, food from this world and a beautiful building to complete it. Very affordable and massive portions.

Can't beat good fish chips, good service, place, epic food. 100% would come back immediately! Olivia P and Sophie were immersed again today, absolutely amazing staff and service as usual, they were very attentive and polite. Food was amazing as always!

We had a nice lunch here and the experience was brilliant to fit. Sarah was an absolute star that helps us today and we couldn't ask for a better afternoon in Hull!
