This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, places to eat in Nürnberg. I love their beer garden in the summertime and in the winter the inside is cozy and warm. I love that there are local beers here and always fresh from the tap. The standing menu is good and always there if you need it (schnitzel, salads, etc.), but my mouth always starts to water when i look at the daily menu. there are always the most delicious, interesting, seasonal dishes. one of the most interesting things i had was during Pifferlinge season, papardelle with pfifferlinge ina cream sauce with blueberries. IT WAS AMAZING. Their Schäufele is not to be missed (but only on Sundays and ORDER AHEAD). During hunting season, they also can have fresh venison or wild boar dishes. The staff are also comptent, helpful and friendly.
I met a group of friends at Paradies one evening for dinner. It is a nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and could easily communicate with our broken German/English attempt at communication. They have many beer selections. I...had the schnitzel with wonderfully cooked vegetables as a side and both were fantastic. One of my friends selected the roast beef which was also delicious. I can't wait to go back.
I visited the Paradies more than 4 times already and everytime I'm more than pleased with the service, the variety of dishes (Roastbeef, Schnitzel, fish, salads...) and the taste of the food in general. I only can recommend the restaurant, the garden in spring /summer and the cabin in autumn/winter is just the cherry on the cake.
