"Cool new bar, but it lacks charm inside. Only very simple with empty walls. That said Blair is a funny guy to chat with and the food was delicious. Would be total 5* with a little more character inside. The pizza bread HH dish was great. Good drinks were a bit expensive for a HH, but the wine specialty is good."

We visited this restaurant on its third night of reopening under new ownership. All the outdoor tables were near a heat source which is great for this February time of year. The pizza menu is extraordinary, with each pizza being 13 in diameter and one was plenty for my wife and me. We ordered the Sausage and Wild Mushroom and they accommodated our request to have the truffle oil on the side since my wife doesn 't like it . They do not allow you to have half of one pizza choice from the menu combined with half of another menu choice. The pizza was very tasty with an excellent crust. Their ground meats and pizza dough are made fresh daily and they source their products within a 100 mile radius...

Enjoy this new restaurant Orinda. We were twice and figure our menu favorites. So far we love the fritto misto and the bolognese pasta. The pasta with mussels was also so good last week. I also enjoyed the burger, although next time I will ask for more of the grilled onions that were super good. Our toddler also loves the Penne Bolognese, the pizza bread and the frits. Today we tried the Caesar salad. Excellent. I think they can prepare their own sauces and dressings because the ranch scuba diving for the pizza bread tastes so fresh. A place to eat the world of restaurant again!

It is located in a alley in a small square. So the environment is great and the air is refreshingly sitting outside. The day we are there (Friday), there was a music performance at a nearby restorer, we could hear it from our outdoor table but not too loud. The food is great. We like pizza bread and pizza the best. Calamari is also quite unique. I think it's mixed with lemon sauce and basil.

The reincarnation of Piccolo Napoli under new owners exceeds my expectations. They use great high quality ingredients and offer both classic and creative flavor combinations. The crust is flavorful and just the right balance of crunchy and chewy. I'm excited to have a new favorite pizza restaurant close to home.
