My family and I visited Pizzeria Trattoria Da Michele last night as an alternative choice for pizza.The restaurant is a pretty basic Pizzeria, with a couple handfuls of tables. It won't win any decor awards.The staff was very friendly and attentive...We had no complaints about anything related to service.In terms of the pizza itself, all I can say is that it was amongst the very best I've had in Zurich, hands down. Looking at other reviewers, it seem I'm not alone in that opinion, either...I had a pizza with salsiccia (Italian sausage), peperocini, roasted peppers, garlic mushrooms. Guys, seriously, this is the best pizza in town! First of all, the hospitality is incredible: he cooked for us even if he was almost closing, which goes beyond what most restaurants would do (it was our very first time in his restaurant).Second: he's from southern Italy and you just taste it in every bite. The pizzas are "real" pizzas: tasteful, fresh and the slices are steady when eating by hand, which means that the pasta is cooked exactly right!I can highly recommend this place, the have been there a few times already and we just moved here a few weeks ago! ;-) I'm looking forward to eat some other dishes as everything looks delicious! Next time, I'll post some pics.

This restaurant is the restaurant that we all wish was in our neighbourhood. We are incredibly lucky to have booked an AirBNB 5 minutes away and to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant one evening while walking around. It is warm and inviting, with an extensive menu of pizza, pasta, and other Italian staples. The bread is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

As an Italian expat in Zurich I was really lucky and extremely happy to discover this restaurant. Michele is cocking everything perfectly. The ravioli and pizzas are sublime and the fish evenings are the best possible gourmet events.It is my "Ristorante di fiducia" since a long time now, even after trying other restaurants on Zurich Michele's is definitely the best one! On the top floor of a building, it offers a nice view of zurich from its glass walls as well as a terrace, it's a great place where to eat good italian pizza, good food and great and attentive staff. I definitely recommend it!

Super! Die Pizzeria Trattoria Da Michele öffnet neu an der Grubenstrasse 12, im 5. Stock, mit Terasse und ein fantastischer Ausblick, 8045 Zürich. Für den kleinen und grossen Hunger lohnt sich ein Besuch allemal.
