Lovely quiet little restaurant run by Brits Roger and Kay. They serve traditonal British pub food fish chips and curries but we started with tapas, which our 2 year old daughter loved. Balti style curry comes in 'French ' strength (almost no chili) but you can ask for 'British ' strength which is a bit more fiery! We 've previously been here for fish chips which is the best I 've had outside the North of England. Delicately cooked with soft, melt in the mouth batter. And best if all it comes with proper chips, not frites. Dessert are worth dieting for a luscious rhubarb crumble for the Mrs and sticky toffee pudding for me, both with real custard. Of course this is France, so all washed down...
We went one Thursday night, very quiet. Excellent fish'n'chips perfectly cooked fish, real thick chips in English! Great dessert too. Very useful with our daughter (2 years) and our dog too! We were staying in St Vincent Sur Oust so filled in the online booking form for a reservation at Reflexions for a Friday evening. The restaurant closes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We arrived at the appointed time to find the place closed, despite a claim it was open on their website. A passing local informed us they had been closed for some time.
I returned to Reflexions with friends for a light lunch and chose the Sardines which were served in a lovely rich tomato sauce with salad and fried potatoes. Very much enjoyed it. Also the lovely rhubarb crumble served with custard. It was certainly not a light lunch but very enjoyable and well presented. Reserva una mesa ahora
