Gasthof Riedbad Hornbach

Drive from Wyssachen towards Fritzenfluh, turn left at the Fritzenhus cheese shop and follow the Asphaltstraße (Vorder Hinterried) approx. 6 km to the end (Gasthof Riedbad). There are parking and beautiful hiking trails; it can be migrated to the “pot” in about 2.5 hours. In order to survive as a guest house in this remote location, the owner of Riedbad is switching the theme and the concept. The decoration outside and inside is impressive, imaginative and unique, as the landlord Elisabeth Widmer (Lise) himself. We visited with friends and family and whilst it is off the beaten track, it is definitely worth a visit, as attested by the many there on the 26th December. Spectacular atmosphere in one half of the restaurant where they have gone above and beyond with a 'witches' theme decor - you have to see it to believe it with all the many little touches that make it special. The other side suits you if in a more somber mood but either side means fantastic Swiss food at great value with entertainment from your tireless hostess.

Spectacular atmosphere in a half of the restaurant where they went beyond and beyond...with a 'Hexe' theme decor you need to see it to believe it with all the small touches that make it special. The other side fits you when in a sober mood, but both side means fantastic Swiss cuisine with great value with entertainment from your tireless hostess.
